1. Over 200 die in Bangladesh garment factory collapse. The factory has supplied western companies including The Children’s Place, H&M, The Gap, Primark, and Wal-Mart (although most have distanced themselves from the factory following the disaster). This is what neo-liberal capitalism brings us: death for cheap clothing. Let’s stop buying cheap stuff, but more importantly, let’s demand regulation that protects all workers, everywhere. Because this is completely, totally, utterly unacceptable.

    ETA: As on Monday, April 29th the death toll has climbed to 402. Absolutely horrifying.
